The Lexus RC F GT3 is a grand touring race car built by Toyota Gazoo Racing for Lexus for use in endurance racing. Homologated for the GT3 category and powered by a 540 horsepower 5.4L 2UR-GSE V8, the RC F GT3 was unveiled at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. The car began limited competition in 2015, being used in the VLN Series to develop the car; the car won on its debut. For 2016, the car would be developed further, culminating in its entrance into full-fledged competition in 2017. The car is currently active in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Super GT, Super Taikyu and the World Endurance Championship.
This is Hot Wheels's first vehicle branded as a Lexus since 2003. The initial livery of this casting is based on the bare carbon fiber car used at the RC F GT3's 2017 unveiling. Some portion of the driver's side window is absent.
